The Apprentice

Helmet sketches and pose rendering of The Runaway protagonist for a personal Star Wars short story. I chose the asymmetrical dual wielding style for his design because of a long time interest in Miyamoto Musashi's Nitto ryu (二刀流）. The wakizashi sized light saber is his original weapon that was heavily damaged in his escape from being a Sith apprentice. The sabers represent the character's shifting relationship with the force.
He's now in hiding on a remote planet preparing for the the day his master eventually finds him.
